if you dont want to take out the trays for 27's if that's what you already have in the boat, and install new trays for 31, you can probably modify the existing 27 trays w/o even taking them out...razor blade/exact knife/carpenter's knife.. just cut the corners on side so it opens up and the longer batteries will fit...
bigger boat, bigger trolling motor, bigger batteries for sure.
