I plan on buying my first boat next year and I have a few questions.  I've been looking at a number of manufacturers and really like the Tuffy 1890.  Since I am currently deployed overseas in the big sandbox I won't be able to actually do anything until I come home for leave in April.  My questions are this:

2) Are there any major changes to the 1890 for 2007?
3) If I decide to put money down in April will most dealers hold the boat until August?

I am also looking at Ranger boats and if someone could give me any pros and cons of the Tuffy vs. Ranger, that would also be a great help.  Buying a boat is going to be a new venture for me and I'm trying to make it as painless as possible.  Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
