The new computer touch pad electrical is standard in all the V model Tuffy boats now and in the Esox Magnum. This system uses a computer module instead of a mass of wiring to control the electonic items you use every day like bilge, lights, livewell, master power, and more. There are 4 accessory leads wired into the touch pad that can be routed anywhere in the boat, and the wiring from those and every other lead in the boat is actually labeled as to what it goes to, bilge, livewell, lights, acc1 acc2, you get the idea. The application is printed on the wire every few inches. This new system removed almost 35% of the wiring, and simplified rigging in a big way. It looks cool, too. Tuffy also made the storage for batteries and under both the front deck and in the rear totally sealed and dry fiberglass, which cleans up the interior in the front and removes wood bulkheading from the boat.
