The LGC-2000 must be updated prior to updating the unit. MMC card with update must be installed with the unit off and then started. If it doesn't automatically update when started, hit menu menu, software, browse mmc files and select the appropriate version .luf file, 1.7.0 I think, then i believe you hit enter. You should see a status bar for the upload. Hope this helps. I just did it on both of my units.
