Your current 618 wheel boat shares very little if anything with the 618t - different hull all together. I do own a 618t and can tell you it is a deeper and wider boat that really is a chopped down 620t with better storage. Rod storage is great, can get about 15 rods in the dual lockers with up to 8 fters. Great multispecies boat that will handle bigger water better than the 618 wheel. What I love about the boat is all the space on top of the lockers to walk around when casting or working a fish - quite similar to the Tuffy Mag layout, just a bigger, deeper boat.

Now you aren't going to get the top speed that you'll see with a 618 wheel boat as the tiller is only rated for a 90. With a full load I hit 35-36 and 38 with just me in the boat.

Best of luck, if you don't mind a tiller I think you'd love the jump to a 618t!
