Does the new 1760T have the same rating? With dad looking at a couple used rigs this year, it really has me looking forward to 2007, and getting into a new/er rig(though I'll keep the Brown Streak for river runnin'). I am leaning towards the 681T if I can find one... but am also going to look at the 1760T and its' layout. I wonder which would preform best, hole shot especially. I could care less about top end, but have a limited hole shot window on many of the waters I fish. I agree with above posters, many of the tiller rigs are very underpowered(I currently run one now). They may be maxed out Coast Guard wise, but are underpowered in reality. The same rigs will accept much larger outboards in the console versions and perform to their capabilities. Hopefully some of this will change over time for the tiller lovers like us.
