Subject: Rock dings on a boat

Location: Schofield, Wisconsin		What do you guys do to prevent rock dings from hitting the motor or windshield when trailoring? I just bought a new boat and am trying to keep any scratches/dings off my boat as possible. Take off the windshield and cover the motor? Put an extension on my mud flaps on the truck? Any suggestions would be great.
