I used 303 High Tech Fabric Guard on my last canvas cover and it worked great. High Tech Fabric Guard is the product you want, not the Aerospace Protectant. It's a pain to apply and has very bad fumes. I setup a couple saw horses and some tall boxes to prop up the cover off the floor in the garage. You have to spray this stuff on liberally. I used a pump garden sprayer that had a good adjustable tip on it. My 20ft cover went through nearly 2/3 of a galon. I found it on-line for about $50/gal. In stores it goes for MUCH more. Sounds like a lot of money but it really works and has a UV protectant.

I would refrain from using any products to clean the cover tha twill deteriorate the threads like Fantastic or Tilex. If simple soaps won't get it clean try using Simple Green.
