Thanks for the info Steve. I am looking at trolling motors that will work well with the esox mag and I am thinking of using the minn kota maxxum 80. This motor should have the power I need to fish in any condition, but I'm not sure what shaft length I should go with. Do you have any suggestions for this, (bear in mind that I will be fishing some rough water and possibly some tournaments)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
