Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Shep, yes it is a fact that Evinrude will warranty your lower unit in the first 3 years even if it breaks due to freezing. The folks at Evinrude told me that more damage was done because of poor lower unit maintenance. Standard 3 year warranty from the prop nut to the nut on top of the fly wheel is what is claimed. 7 year warranty through their spring program. 3 years no maintenance. You know me, I been Merc for 30 years, but this has got me thinkin. |
