Location: Clintonville, Wi | i can tell you one thing i can already tell my etech gets better fuel economy than my opti the 3 times i had it out i did alot of running and the needle hasn't hardly moved. top end and hole shot are alot better i have 7mph faster at WOT according to my gps. Same pitch props on both motors. The advertising by evinrude I think is to try to show the consumer that in this time of "FOUR STROKE FRENZY" that there is a good Two stroke out there that is virtually maint free for 3 years.
