I've ran 50 horse 4 stroke merc for 4 years and I'am on my 3rd year with a new 60.They have been good to me the only trouble I've had is an bad regulator which was under warrenty and then recall.They start,they run ,they are quite,and seem to get super gas mileage.I couldn't see getting back into a two stroke.I can understand that if you want all out speed, but if you want a good dependable boat motor it's hard to beat them Blummer
