i am from canada, but bought mine from the yamaha dealer in town,i guide here in north western ontario and change my oil every 100 hours, which doesn,t take long for me,even though i use my trolling motor most of the day.works out to about once every month.all the fishing camps use them ,since they all basically have the 4 strokes now,and they do it from the dock,no mess and fast.after the oil is out of the motor, tilt it and turn it ,so you can get the oil filter of without spilling any oil.this pump can be used for a number of things.good luck.
