Merckid's name says it all. What else is he going to say.

Suzuki and Yamaha have run away with the 4-stroke technology. These two companies are heads and shoulders above the others in the market when it comes to technology and quality. Suzuki has become the player of these two companies though. Nothing against Yamies, but from experience, Suzuki is the name of the game. The new Evinrudes have become a player as well, but lets see if they hold up. They have not been on the market that long. Prior to 2005 Evinrude/Johnson 4-strokes WERE Suzuki. Just change the color of the motor. If you have a Suzuki and need a prop, just go to the Evinrude/Johnson dealer and get the same size prop and you should be good to go. Yamaha made the Mercs power heads for their 4-strokes as well.
