I have a 20 ft. Lund ProV. Although the console takes up room...there is plenty left. I guide from the back of the boat and both clients are on the front deck casting. With a little work I have had 5 guys casting from my boat at the same time. It really depends on the lakes you are going to be fishing and the number of people fishing from your boat...the console helps break a lot of wind on larger bodies of water. I also think resale value would be better on consoles vs. tillers.

For electronics I would recommend a color graph. There are many to choose from but make sure you get the higher pixel graphs. Would also recommend a gps unit.
