Steve,

I've got a Lowrance GlobalMap 100. I like it alot. Very easy to use, and not too expensive. I got the Mapping CD, and also bought some of the HotSpots/Navionics lake maps for it. They are rally nice to have, Used it on LOTW with the Navionics map last fall. Wouldn't go without it now. If you want to see it, I'll be at the Chapter fisheree on the 26th, or you can e-mail me and get together for a cold one. Let me know.
