I just purchased a 2005 50 hp 4 stroke, but my boat has a 2 stroke on it. I am sure there is still oil in the gas tank. What should I do before I installl the new motor. I understand I must drain the tank, but what "tricks of the trade" can I do to ensure a safe switch. How bad is it to break in a new 4 stroke with a little oil in the gas.
