I have the Dual Pro SE. I run a 97' 200 Merq EFI, I think the alternator puts out about 30 amps. When fishing bigger lakes on longer trips it pays off. I go on a week trip to Vermillion before that it was LOTW. I can run 2 days very hard on my trolling batteries without charging at the dock no problem. It really wouldn't pay fishing smaller Wisconsin lakes. My bro has a new Triton and 225 e-tek and he strugles with his batteries towards the end of one day on the big lakes.

West Marine, and I think Bass-Pro and/or Cabela's makes add on units to do the same thing.

I run 2 $50 fleet farm batteries for the trolling motor and the Dual Pro makes em work great.
