I am in the thought process of rigging my new Tuffy. I want to network my front and back GPS units, but I am not entirely sure what that accomplishes. Does it transfer information freely between the two units? Would I need two chips to see lake contours on both locators? Do they share waypoints when networked.

If it helps I will be networking Lowrance units. Someone help me, what advantage do I get from the network other than needing only one module.
