Location: Elk River, Minnesota		I will just plug in for about a day once a month. If the batteries are charged, they will not freeze, and with only charging them one time a month, you don't run as high of a risk of the charger failing and getting an overcharge situation and ruined interior from a battery explosion or spilage.

I no longer remove my batteries.
