As a metals supply company employee, whose job security is pretty nervous, I'm obligated to say "Aluminum!"


Ya know, I was considering going that route when I replace mine this winter. I'm thinking diamond-plate, but how would one attach the carpet? Rivets? Screws with fender washers? I need the scuff protection the carpeting provides.
