Hey Dan, What ever you do when your looking to buy a bow mount, just stick with a Minn Kota. I have owned motor guide's and Minn kota's and by far the minn kota's are the best motors on the market. And for fishing on the back, I've been out fish off the back of the boat more than I want to mention.
