Location: Stevens Point, WI | I tried our Hoover Steamvac last week with the furniture hose attachment and that seemed to work real well too. I think the smaller units like the Bissell that you mentioned would work even better. Occasionally I have spilled oil when filling the resivoir in the back of my Tuffy and have sprayed the area with an orange based degreaser, let it sit for a half hour and then hose it off. You could probably spray the whole carpet let it sit and gently scrub and hose it out and the carpet should be really clean. Keep the suggestions coming as some of us are nearly paranoid about our interiors!! |
