This past spring I picked up a Bissel Little Green ProHeat Wet Vac to use for cleaning my boat's carpeting. (I told my wife it was for our vehicles and upholstery.) This product works very well for me and makes the carpeting look great! I've gotten lots of compliments and even questions if I recently replaced my Esox Mag's carpeting. Not only does a wet vac do a great job of lifting dirt and grime from the carpeting that a dry vac could never do, but I've also removed coffee, rust and other stains too. This could be a good Christmas gift for a wife that JUST HAPPENS TO WORK well in your boat too. hehe
