Chad,

The manufacturers can't do with alum. what they can with glass in terms of hull design. Sworrall can best answer technical questions but you get a better ride/stability from glass.

I have a 2001 Esox Deep-V 1700, it fishes 3 adults comfortably and safely. One of the best features..it fits in a standard size garage.

My rig was new in June and it is for sale and you'll have money left over to spend on new baits...[:p]

I will be getting another Tuffy, more than likely the same model only with a few custom features from the factory.
