When you say High Performance, I assume you mean tweaked from stock with different reed valves, exhaust, and carb work? If so, I would be more concerned with Octane rating, than whether the gas has some alcohol in it or not.

The reformulated gas runs fine in most engines. The issue with it is it will absorb water if it sits, and it does seem to have shorter shelf life. Octane rating is as stated, whether reformulated or not. this is tightly controlled, so I would not worry too much.
