Mikie is right about asking at BBC,I think the main merc guy there is Sherm. Personally I ould try and avoid the Reformulated crap as much as possible and also like Mikie said run fuel stabilzer through it. For that ONLY use the Mercury Quicksilver stabilizer or the Johnson/Evinrude 2X4 Fuel Stabilzer. I run the 2X4 in every tankfull. I would also run at least 89 octane if not higher.
