Location: Black Creek, WI | Shep... I called and talked to the guys at Ranger about my COOL hubs. They recently changed the design of them and they no longer use O-Rings and only need to be filled half-way with oil. My "older" 2001 Cool Hubs are still best run full... and use O-Rings on the oil bath cap.
I'm planning on just taking mine apart to put the O-Ring on... and crossing my fingers that is the only problem. If there are seal issues... I'll need "professional" help (ha ha) with that.
Now I just need to find some time.... and NOT at the expense of my fishing time (heh heh).
