Mine are older units but I have a global map 2000 on the dash and an X-85 on the bow. I want a very good unit on the bow of my boat as I spend 99% of my time there. There is no replacement for quality electrronics. You have a large investment in $$$$ and time. Don't skimp on your ability to "see" whats under you at any given time. Buy the best electronics that you can afford. The Lowrance 330 or 332 is a great unit that a lot of the tournament guys are putting on their rigs. Again, buy the best and most detailed unit you can afford.
