Location: Chicago, Beverly | I have a '83 Rampage 160 xt. I have had it out in 3 footers several times. Just make sure your gear is stored good so the rods don't bounce around and don't go full throttle into the waves.. Mines a tiller so I also reccomend having your rain suit handy in 3 footers as you will get wet.... I have a carb upgraded 40 evinrude on mine... (should be like 50-52hp with upgraded carbs), I get an average of 33mph out of it with a 15" prop with cupped blades, pretty quick for a 16' fiberglass tiller.. 4 Stroke Honda may be a bit slower I would think... |
