Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Run the rig as is, it's paid for, and runs great. The fuel economy will be lost in the lower HP repower and the money spent on the new motor, and the $$ spent will not be recovered at sale because of the hull and trailer age and the fact the boat model has been discontinued. Even if you had to do another powerhead in three years, which shouldn't happen if you use good oil and upkeep is right on the money, it will be alot less than the repower now plus opportunity cost.
I might be 'just a salesman', but this I know a thing or two about.  |
