Subject: Crestliner 1850 / Evinrude 150 prop selection / top end

Location: Woodstock, IL
I've got a Crestliner 1850 with an Evinrude 150 Ficht, both model year 2003. Loaded with gear, half tank and two adults, I barely hit 44 mph with the stock 21 pitch, three blade aluminum prop. I've talk to others that state the same type of setup should be getting me into the low 50's. Granted a SS prop may help, but I can't see picking up 7-8 mph just by adding steel.

All speeds are measured with GPS, full throttle, full trim, RPMs around 5100/5200 or so. Highest speed attained so far was 48 on dead calm water by myself with no gear.

Am I expecting too much with this setup?
