Since you already mentioned getting the axles aligned, make sure the tongue weight is also correct. You want the trailer to ride level when attached to the vechicle. If you load the boat up, try to distribute the weight. Maintain same tire pressure all the way around and buy a good quality TRAILER tire. Radials run a bit cooler and might be a good ideal with drum brakes being added to
all axles.
