I think you have/had low water levels in those cells over time, exposing the plates to air and recharging/discharging
causing the plates to form excessive 'sulfating', plate errosion. In possible conjuntion with poor plate connections aiding
the deterioration.
The sulfate then hase flaked/fell off and has dissolved into smaller particles causing the 'milky' electrolyte.


You will probably need just to buy a new batt. Save your self a headache.
