Location: Bagley,MN 56621		At this point E-Tec is your only choice in that HP range.........what is your boat rated for? can it handle a 40?

Mercury OptiMax put out some smaller HP motors in 2004, not sure how low they intend to go.

Yamaha HPDI is still in the bigger ones, not sure what their smaller HP engines will do in the near future for DFI.
