It is an 86. There is a TM block on the front, and it is carpeted. I pulled 2 small screws from the front of the block thinking that it would come off, but I can't access the inside of it. It seems looser now, but I still can't get in. I am mounting the quick remove plate on there so once it's lined up, if the block comes off, I can mount it no problem. Just not sure how to get into the block. I don't want to bolt it down like the other guy had it. I don't think it will hold without the nuts on there.
