OK, sharpen up the brain cells, I'm about to launch the official Christmas Season Scavenger hunt. those of you who have tried to solve the riddles know the Riddler is twisted...

Prize:
Frabill Powercatch Muskie Net; shipped to you directly from Frabill
Your choice double a or triple a E-Cell rechargeable fuel cell charger and cells shipped to you directly from E-Cell.

This will take some thinking...
I am going to lead you to something on an OutdoorsFIRST website, offering one clue per day or so unless the need arises for more. Get a clue right, get an attaboy and move toward the solving of the Hunt. You may guess as many times as you want, but try to 'fish' for the answer by posting multiple guesses that are no moe than throwing mud against the wall to see if it will stick and I'll make it even MORE difficult to solve. I suggest no more than 3 answers/guesses per day per player.

First clue:

I said it before and I meant as I said, the clues form the Riddler will make you see the answer in your head. Look to the places I riddle you to see, and soon you find yourself unriddling me.

Someone is warm, someone is HOT, someone is neither, that guy is not. Answers at night, just one time a day, too much from Riddler just doesn't pay. I'm making this Hunt a challenging time, why is I post everything as a rhyme??

Sorno was the first to nail this one right, now you can see how to look for the light. The light will shine brightly on the answer that's good, and the riddle will be solved, just like it should.

Clue Number Two:
Four there are, but if one looks one will see that four is only a little of what this will be.
Five, or is it six, what is it riddler asks, answer this riddle, it's the simplest of tasks.

Merckid has it with Sornos good guess, now we shall see where this leads for this week's rest. Looking we are for something you see, something you don't see just like the trees. The matronly one is all that you need to get to the next clue and the mystery, feed!

I'ts the Mother Ship I sought and you got that right, now lets look at that carefully and group up tight. Something you seek, something to find, something you need to try to unwind. Something is on one of the sites, look for it with the clues offered and maybe get it right!

If you do not win, You cannot be this, it's a difference of one and has to do with a fish! OutdoorsFIRST is the mother ship, then there are four, soon to be six, and then maybe more. 'Look over there' is what Clinton once said, 'Look over there' and let it go to your head. What you seek is on one, in one, and as such, is part of the overall and is not very much. So which would it be, is it one or another, is it all or none, is it well under cover?

I think it's going to be the ability of us "the users" to put video footage on a separate site and to also put your video right into your posts.

Ok, I just found this from the Riddler himself on another thread. This is just backing up my statement above.

VERY soon there will be an OutdoorsFIRST Website dedicated to exactly this subject(meaning the ability to post movie clips)...videos posted by our visitors from all the OutdoorsFIRST Websites. Watch for the announcement!

The key is, videos posted by our visitors from all the OutdoorsFirst Websites.

I think I know what Steve is getting at...

If you do not win, you cannot be this: First
It's a difference of one: First and second place, the difference between winning and not
It has to do with a fish: That means it's either MuskieFIRST, WalleyeFIRST or SalmonFIRST...
Presumably not on MuskieFIRST, or Steve would not have directed us to the mothership first...

And then there's this clue:

"Something you seek, something to find, something you need to try to unwind."

Hmmmm...

So we're looking for something on Salmonfirst or Walleyefirst

Addict is WARM, but needs to correct
The course of his thinking, and then can select
The direction we are going, trying to find
The answer to the Riddles, so that a Net so fine
Can be in the rig next year, netting a fish
A Frabill it will be, or at least Frabill-ish!

Flying in the Breeze...

Would this be refering to you needing a new net after 'someone' left yours flying in the breeze while en route to a nearby lake?

Hmmmm...

If only a riddler, a riddler I be, then Steves odd clues would make sense to me.

That which is hidden, one needs to unwind, where such a thing could all of us find?

And though the clues are somewhat unclear, flying in the breeze this thing should appear??

Now, Frabill was mentioned quite a few times, could this be a thing related to ice fishing lines?

Like this, perhaps?

Eno???

Brian Eno used to produce albums for U2, along with Steve Lilywhite, but that's got nothing to do with us here...

Perhaps you meant "won" and you don't know how to spell?

In which case the word would be "now"... Which still means little.

I am beginning to hate this game

OutdoorsFIRST is the Mothership, that's true. Now there is three, then there was two. What is a riddle to a professional solver? It's like calling a pistol, the gun, a revolver. 1 if it's backwards, then if you can't observe it, I'll reverse the field even though you don't deserve it.

Ok, Mothership is OutdoorsFIRST.....so with something being on all three, and Bobski's Z...I'm going with Zach, as he runs the servers and what not, that must be like driving an alien spacecraft.

here is my shot at solving the cypher.....1 backwards......
Since outdoorfirst is the mothership....muskifirst must be the 1....1 backwards is first muskie....which led me to this....the first post of 2007 titled first muskie.

'A' is right, ZA then too, now follow your noses and say exactly who. Pointer was right, but came about it badly, now comes the hard part, the hard clues come now, sadly...

bobski has it right again, he nailed it exactly so now we begin the trek to the finish, the answer to all queries, as such I suppose mostly by theory.

The beginning it is, it was and shall be; Zach and his partner were the founders (That's ME!). What we search for is a phrase, a group of words, some idea, the form of which exists where the Riddler told you, look back right here!

Low light.

What They're Saying
All of the OutdoorsFIRST sites (WalleyeFIRST, MuskieFIRST, IceFishingFIRST) were recently awarded a TOP RATING in the book "Fishing the Web: 1000 Best Fishing Web Sites". Just 310 sites worldwide, freshwater and saltwater, received the "Top Rating" designation, of which fourteen were freshwater fishing sites.

Numbers and letters...

Number: 1 as in #1, and FIRST

Steve mentioned the horizon. Looking towards the horizon, there will be 6, where there now are 4, where there once were 2 that started as one. We are talking about the future of OutdoorsFIRST Media, are we not? Two sites yet to come, BassFIRST and WhitetailsFIRST, we've established that already.

Now what letters and numbers would lead us to the future???????

EIEIO? With a chomp chomp here and a swoosh swoosh there, hey we ain't opening a muskie farm are we?

OutdoorsFIRST began in July of 2001 with MuskieFIRST.com, with the vision of providing daily, relevant, and cutting-edge content to specific groups of anglers, free from the nonsense and clutter so common to other hobby, part-time, or personal glory-based fishing websites.

From "Fishing the Web: 1000 Best Web Sites"
by Stoeger Publishing:

"You may not consciously care about good web design, but when pages such as MuskieFIRST and the company's mirror site, WalleyeFIRST load on to the screen, you'll see well-proportioned pages, clear navigation, easily readable text and an attractively muted color scheme. It all inspires confidence the site is there for the long term. Content Highlights include a long menu of articles, popular forums, video interviews ... chatroom Q & A sessions ..."

Zach it is, that is right, that is tight... now what are you to do to bring the final puzzle to light? Another two words, that's what you need, it's those two words that the knowledge will feed. Those two words will give the final clue as to what it is to win you need do!
