Pool Play begins June 1st, and runs through July 31st.
Match Assignments are:
1 vs. 2
3 vs. 4
1 vs. 4
2 vs. 3
These can be completed anytime before July 31st, 1-2, 3-4, don't have to occur first.
Let's start the scheduling, and the trash talking as early as possible, so that we can get all matches set ASAP. This is now your responsibility to schedule the dates, but in the case of major difficulties, please email me.
Remember, a day or 2 before your match, each team will be assinged a household item to have pictured with your fish....but since you schedule on your own...you are going to have to tell me, MNEsox, Jim_K, or Luke_Chinewalker when this is going to be so that we can assign that item to you.
If everyone will email me their contact info, and also seek out that of the participants in your assigned pool, that would be a big helper.

Slamr
*and Koepp, now we get to prove ourselves after our walk-away defeat last year.

Slamr, we have decided from this point forward we will be known as " The Big Banana Chuckers." That's a heck of alot better than a dumb name like Norm Wild.

Troy,
I think when he said we could start talking trash he meant with the other teams, not trashing our own.

Ah, I see the luck of the draw is against the likes of Plizzz, Musky Maniacs and the Silicone Slingers. Too bad, so sad, yer goin' down.

I know Al and Travis, but, just who is the Plizzz team anyway? Boys, from where do you hail? Why "Plizzz"? And, can you send me some hair for the voodoo doll I'm making up special just for you?

I am really going to laugh when The Le Bowl De Toilet Flyers kick everybody's ass fishing only the finest Illinios toilet bowl -- The Fox Chain. Not only will we kick ass, we will have to do it before 11:00 am and all the skiers and power boats get going.

Habeeb,

It saddens me to write this reply, because you are a friend. But, it has been said that all is fair in love and war! Your partner, a fine upstanding pillar of the community also will have to deal with the agony of defeat. For you see, when you come up against the X-MEN Habeeb, it will be then "grasshopper" that you learn the harsh reality of flapping your jaw before you have slime in the boat!

As Julius Ceaser once said (at least I think he did)
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Mike,

Although Pool 6 is obviously one of the weaker pools don't be so sure that you will advance. While I would love to go against you head to head and kick your ass, you might be sighting the Cubs annual slogan -- "wait till next year". You can talk your smack all you want, but we both now that you will not be able to match the talents of the Le Bowl De Toilet Flyers - so live in fear common man as the exploits of the Flyers will be told in stories for years to come.

All bow down to the LBDTF as our victory will be swift and our reign mighty.

I knew I just had to read on and not bother looking at pools to see Slamr as far away from us as possible. Oh well I guess someone else will have the pleasure of wooping your ass and that is if you make it out of the pool play.

Looks like pool 7 will be easy  LOL Cady can't catch fish under pressure, well I will make sure we fish the day of the PMTT. And the walking bulls didn't catch a fish during last year's match fishing. So Jo it's up to you guys to step it up and make it out of pool 7 with the Ottawa Rivermen.

P.S. Slamr best of luck making it out of pool 1 great teams in there.

Lets get it straight from the start, my nickname USED to be Clark and Griswold is spelled with an o not an a. I don't see a problem with Pool 2, just going against a couple Wisconsin guides, whats so tough about that. LOL Holy Cow. Can't we face off with some Candians to break us in a little easier. We are just a couple Iowa boys.

Looks like we drew the Hulberts first round, heck we might even be fishing the same waters as them, could be interesting.

They can take pictures of our fish for us:):):):)

PLITZZZZZ - Why, I've wrestled with evil demons that somehow were released by my head full of tiny but powerful chemicals. It was like a cross between Ghost Busters and The Stand for 8 solid hours. I surely ain't a-skeert of the likes of you.

Ralph - A tip for you. Wait at the landing and when the Mighty Hulbert Brothers roll in, casually tell 'em you saw the band members from Phish in town last night. They'll spend half the day searching the local bars and hotels while you are busy landing winners. I like the Brothes, of course, but I need you to win your pool so I have an opportunity for REVENGE 'cause you are the guy who knocked me out of last year's match in the very first round. Fair and square, of course.

I hate to say it, but Florio doesn't know how to fish.  I kicked his butt at the Cave a few months ago.

I've never fished with Joe Mellott, but I hear he likes to hit from the other side of the plate.

So basically, you have two Hulbert brothers against a "guide" who knows how to take a beating and a queer who'd like to get a beating.

Don't worry, I'll have the camera.  Ralph, just make sure you bring the lube.

Definition of "Fiend"

1a. An evil spirit; a demon. b. The Devil; Satan. c. A diabolically evil or wicked person.

Yeah Ranger, I picked up your "fiend" comment.  Looks like this match fishing contest will be a lot of fun.

Some of us fish every day, some of us once or twice a month.  Some of us fish crappy lakes and some of us live on the Ottawa....but anyone can win.

I'll have to make sure I'm fishing with big waters when I face Rich...to even up the odds a little bit.

I stayed out of this stupidass name calling event until someone brought to my attention that not only did someone throw me under the buss but they called me a queer too. I can take it like the big boys, well maybe not as big as you Steve, but was it necessary to call me queer?

Well, i've printed out the pool, read the postes about 40 times, still can figure it out...oh well, hopefully my partner will keep me in the know. Match Fishing sounds cool. So, Harassers vs. Raw Pigs...hmmm...i'm glad the smack talking has started, this is more up my alley. and Luke Chimewalker,, i'm glad you learned to take it like the big boys...did you learn that during those 7 hard years at the State Pokey? nonetheless, save the reach around for your partner, he's the perfect height for those little breaks he'll be wanting to take...

Musky Fever, those red sores and green drip isn't "Musky Fever", but check w/ your doc, he can get that cleared up for you. and i dont' think you partner is ready to catch your sickness, so you two "fish" safely...bring your "rain gear"....see you on water.

So you two pothead 30 somethings going on 12yrs old have degraded this debate into a name calling event before reaching the second page of posts, not bad but I thought you would have done it by the second post like the old MC days.

My partner and I will have a joyous time spending your money at Stimulators after kicking your boney and fat asses (respectively) on your own home water. We will have two fish in the boat before you guys wake and bake. So get your little girly pink Bull Dawgs out and be there before your hangover kicks in if you want a fair shot at backing up all this trash your are spewing.

HEY!!! stop right there, we're not OLD ladies like you all...who is the hell is 30? the hulberts have years, yes years, before we approach the 30 year marker....So, while two old giesers are rubbing on Ben Gay, bit*ching about your baits weighing too much, yes, we will have the musky fisherman's advantage on, which is a proven deadly tactic.
Talkin' smack, casting big lures, this is what internet musky fishing is about....
One more time, i can take the comments about being a burn out (from the smoke) , but please done't assume i'm an old man like ya'll. Just because we fish like we have decades of experince, doesn't mean you can discount pure talent and knack for the INDIANA ESOX!!!!!!!!!!

Luke_Chinewalker,

Those MuskieCentral days of threatening people are long gone.  But thanks for bringing it up....I had a good laugh.  But let's not go over board....you're not funny.

I'll be sure to have that pink dawg hanging out of the big girl's mouth when I I take a picture for ya.

8th of June is out for me, have to fish baitfish at the Mercury Marine National Walleye Tournament that weekend. Let's take a look at the weekends after that one, and I will ask my Senior Advisor, Beav.

You still want me to show up to drive that Patriot Offshore Rocket during the Nats? We're 10th on the waiting list, and of last week, there had been no cancellations. I will be there either way, but was just wondering.
