This is the entry for the first week of season.
Entry for 5/28 Opening Day
Started out the morning on Johnson Lake, fished from 6 am to noon. Water temps were 58. Saw 5 fish on baits from bulldawgs to wizzes to shallowraider. Logan lost a legal 38 or so on a homemade beetlespin while in the boat with Uncle Steve. Steve saw a good half dozen or so and lost one on a black reaper jig. Nice rig Steve!!! Jason tagging along saw a few fish as well. Switched lakes at 1 to Moens Chain. Fished 4th and 5th, Troy had one chase down a weagle and that was about it for our boat. Jason did catch a 42 on a marabou and lost one other. Moens was in the low 60 degree temp range, 63-66.
