FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!! Why do all of us fight so much in the Muskie Industry? If its not size limits, its taking fish out of the water, its how you hold a fish, or what the world record is, or what the best "strain of fish" there is.

Just boggles my mind how much ENERGY people put into fighting with other muskie fisherman. Personally, between my REAL job (as in the one that pays the bills), MuskieFIRST stuff, Kly stuff, and trying to be a good husband, I have no spare energy for fighting. Or maybe I dont have the passion that others have?

No clue.

It is pretty simple in that it is still a growing sport both in numbers of fisherman and the definition of the sport itself.

Look at some of the fights that NEEDED to be fought...

Catch and release(Muskies INC.)

Push for musky stocking and or it's continuation(IL, IN, TN, NC)

Size limit increases(many)

Quick set rigs vs kill rigs(WI and others)

WMRP, really a pot stirrer but a VALID concern and having positive effects regardless if they are right or not

Heck, let em fight.

It gets pretty old , a bunch of petty crap.

I guess the best way to explain it is that "everyone has an opinion".
