I went to see my spinal surgeon today and I indeed have another herniated disk, probably one level up from the last one so worker's compensation will probably not pay for it. I am having really bad radicular pain in my left leg and parathesia's in the medial aspect of my left foot. It looks like I will have to have surgery again. I'm having another epidural methylprednisolone injection on the 14th so hopefully that will help a lot again. Wish me luck everyone.

I'm having surgery again on May 12th. I will unfortunately miss the WI northern opener and will not be able to fish until late June or early July. Big bummer!!

Well it's two weeks after the epidural and my pain is basically gone, so that's good news. I still have some numbness in my foot though. I see my doctor in a few weeks and we will go from there. Hopefully I can delay things till this winter, I missed a few months of the muskie season in 2003 with the first surgery. At least I'm still able to work full time, I would be going nuts if I couldn't.
