Posts: 89 | I have a Calcutta 400D that casts rough and has problems with the engage and dis engage from the cast button. Probably needs a little rebuild love. Are parts for the D still a pain to get? I'm sure its all on the up and up but it makes me nervous to send all the information to use one of my credit cards in the mail on the Shimono form. I'm out of warranty. Is it something you can get the parts for or should I bite the bullet and hope I don't end up with an extra big screen on my card when I send it to Shimono. Thanks for your time PS. I probably wouldn't be needing it till march at this point

If you send it to Shimano they may just replace the reel also ??????

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | I want to Thank everyone that sent reels to me in 2014, this year was my best year for reels, and I was sometime 4 months in the rear on returning reels, for that I'm sorry. For the upcoming year my son and daughter will be helping me to keep up so I should never be more then 6 weeks in the rear, unless parts are on backorder. Also for 2014 I will try to call or send email when I receivce the reels and the same when they go out. I will invoice you with the reels and then send a ck asap, I have over $2000.00 out on the books for reels, if they don't pay I will have to have a ck in hand before I send reels out, I hope does not come to that. Also the price to do a DTR Detail, Tune and Relube will be starting Jan 1 2015 will be $30.00 a reel. So get your reels in to me before then and it is $25.00 a reel. I will have a show booth at 2015 Chicgo Musky Show and the 2015 MN Musky show so U can drop off reels there or pick them up at the show. Thank You Please call me with any suggestions, all are welcome. cell 708 514 7777 email [email protected] RICHARD W SCHMITZ aka PikeMaster

I know full well that I'm a good bit naive and this does happen but I still find it inconceivable that anyone who frequents this board and the friends you make here would take advantage of such a service as Pikemaster offers here. Unbelievable!!! That is all...

Posts: 31 Location: Cleveland | Is it possible to put revo toro 61HS gears in a revo toro winch 61? They used to make a high speed left hand retrieve in the 61 series (6.4 ratio), but they stopped several years ago. So the gears should be available right? And the overall case of the reels are the same correct?

I don't do alot of left hand gear swaps, left hand gears are always on back order.

I don't do alot of left hand gear swaps, left hand gears are always on back order. Pikemaster did a gear swap for me on a Toro 61 5.4:1 to a 6.4:1. Took awhile cuz as he said the gears were on backorder and tough to get. He was upfront about it taking awhile, and never really was able to provide a timeframe but that was not an issue with him. It was worth the wait for me, especially since he pimped it out. Will be dropping a few reels off at the Chicago show for some pimping.
