Can anyone recommend a good walleye guide and a good musky guide for Lac Vieux (WI) in October?
Thanks,
Tom

I highly recommend Mark Curtis his number is 715-617-3474. He guides Muskies and will put you on Walleyes....

Mike Goomiela knows the area better than most! Back in the day he tore up the Vilas County area with his limit of Walleyes. The fall is his best time also! He even caught a 49 on Lac Vieux Desert jiggin for eyes and he landed it! I would call him!!!!

I believe Jim 'Lemonhead' Grass was Goomiela's guide the day he caught the 49".

I would call either Phil Werner or Mark Curtis, you can't go wrong with either one! If you choose to go with Phil Werner be prepared to eat a lot of apples, drink a lot of coke, and be able to use plastic bags effectively......

Goomiela's all about Minnesota now! I don't think he fishes the Big Desert anymore.
