Hey Guys Thanks for all the positive feedback on my fish! It was a total blast to catch and release such a monster. World record?? Well if I held mine like O'Brien did without supporting the belly, I'm sure you would clearly see a girth larger than his fish! This thing was a pig!!! Best of all, it is still out there! Hope you guys all have an awesome fall season and can bring one in even bigger! Best Fishes, Kevin D.

Posts: 714 Location: Rhinelander, WI | Great fish Kevin and much respect for releasing the beast. Did you happen to get a girth on the monster? If not no big deal, just curious. Truly an awesome fish, looks to me like one of the biggest ever, very cool, and glad it was reeled in by a Musky Hunter! Again great job. Nail (Another) Pig! Mike

I was misquoted in Bay Today. What I said was a fish in these waters could possibly reach 30-40 years old. I have been contacted by a man who let's just say knows his stuff and he says the fish is 27 or28 years old. Happy fishin gary d

The Davisons are real champions for the way they handled the fish and successfully returned it to the lake just down from my cottage yipee!!
