Here's a few I just finished. The carp is 10". the walleye is 8", and the other three are 6". My wife asked me what I call the bright one and I started to say hot perch but I settled on the "Three Mile Island Perch." All of them are through wire construction.

Ken,

Are you "Mylures" from Tacklemaking.com in the old days? I remember a Ken from up your way back when that was THE site for making lures.

Shane,

I also would like to compliment you on the lures, especially the carp pattern. The two tone base beneath the scales really stand out.

Thanks John, Dave don't know how lucky he is to be where its warm and with open water. So far the feedback has been very positive. Good to see you on the site again. Ken

Beautiful baits George, I like how the head of the lure is sloped to match the lexan bill.

A few from the holidays. A repainted Beaver Perkette and a Bikinibait Turmoil (need etex, obviously). they both have been chewed to beyond recognition by the local pikegang, and I needed some baits to practice airbrushing.

George I sure love my 14's, Dave and I thought the motor was ticking but it was the bait running behind the boat,,, lol they are big time thumpers.
The through wire you made me is so nice I hate to run it, but she was born to run>>>

Woodieb8,

Do they rune deep like a crank or more like a twitch. Hard to tell depending on how much the sloped nose contributes to the action. Really innovative design. Like them a lot.

thw woodie thumpers run 16ft with 50 ft or power pro, at 4mph. they do have a thumping sensation.. great on boat rods trolling. some guys on the ottawa river order them with 1/4 inch lips to reduce dive. they flatline them. some big fish have been caught .. my favorite is 20feet of line on the corner rod with 6 ounce inline sinker. that puts the bait at 16feet at 3.9. big fish are lazy. fishing that over 19ft in st clair has popped a few 50,s.
