Posts: 351 | haukkivesku, you previously posted a link which had over 100 pages. I'd like to see that link again. It had many amazing baits. Could you email it to me? My email address is [email protected].

Location: Duluth, MN - Superior, WI | "agarofalo" That looks like a lure my son Ty painted. One day he just had to help dad paint lures. So I gave Ty some paint a brush and a lure and told him have fun. As you see he had a blast. I think it looks great!! -Corey Edited by ckarren 4/10/2007 10:49 AM Attachments ---------------- LGTY.jpg (39KB - 262 downloads)

Posts: 137 | Here are some lures for the guys that said the board was slowing down lately. First off are a couple of lures by some friends that are really good lure makers. The first is a lure by Don of Hoosier Handmade baits that he custom made for me. It is 10 inches long and suspends between rips and has his famous hoosier handmade rattles. Nice lure, and he named it the hang toad after yours truly. That's an honor from a guy who makes lures that are nice looking, but also are really good at catching fish. The other lure is by a friend who makes a few here and there like myself. This is one nicely balanced and shaped lure, and it is big. Had awesome action during the trial run, and the foil paintjob was super nice. The other lures are some by myself, including a sucker lure that I made and am posting at someones request. Works as a dive and rise bait fairly well, but not as good as a suick. Then comes the mouse, which runs surprisingly well with a nice wobble back and forth, almost like a tippy darter on a straight retrieve. A guy named nathan bettencourt makes a much better version that I prefer to throw, though. And last is a bass bait I made just for fun. Shark eating surfboard crankbait.

Posts: 680 Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Wow, ALL of those are awesome!!! The Sucker in particular looks alive! I'm blown away. Toad, you already knew I was a fan but holy sh*t those are something else!!! By the way, I never said Suckers are off limits. Obviously it's possible to make a sucker that looks completely different from my design but still look real. Toad, you da MAN!!! That thing is amazing! Edited by Musky Snax 4/17/2007 7:39 PM

Posts: 351 | Another one from the lathe with an old style lip. It should be fun to see if the muskies like these lathe baits. I just got the lathe about a month ago:

Posts: 137 | Thanks for the comments guys, i appreciate them. And especially a compliment from Mr. Senett, as your pacemaker is one of my top producing lures, and this year I'm going to get to try out the creeptonite. Can't wait to throw it. I wish you guys could see the foil lure better by my buddy fishboy. It is a beautiful lure, and I should have taken better pictures of it. It's 13 inches long and is completely carved out with a wide back and a thin taper towards the bottom of the lure. And for a thirteen inch lure, it really dances when you work it in the water. He has another 16" gold leaf lure that is really nice too, I'll have to get a pic of it too on here.
