I am new to lure making. I am making a few crank baits, 6-9 inch wiith thru wire. What gauge wire should I use . Thanks, Mag

I use .051 wire. My guess is Cranes may use thinner, but .051 is easy to work with.
.062 would be good too, but not as easy to work with. IMO
