Fun video. And it actually made me feel better about my relatively poor success rate in late fall.
3 guys who know what they are doing, 4 days on the water and one fish. I have heard so many stories about late fall fishing, thought I was the only one not pulling them in one after the other. Still like that time of the year, no pleasure boats, migrating wild fowl, etc.

In my limited time in the late October time period I've done OK including my largest fish, fishing slow and deep with small windows of action. I've had my gear collect ice and I've fishing in short slaves with air temps pushing 70. Lots of resorts and restaurants are closed, and the docks at the boat landings have been pulled along with some buoy's. A great quiet time to be on the water.
