Depth raider or shallow raider for casting into rock reefs and bouncing the rocks?

I've chipped up my lips on a Depth Raider casting on deep reefs I've come out ok casting 9" shallow raiders on shoreline rocks.
If you really want to smash into rocks and are worried about the lips on your lures go with a one piece design. AKA Believer or Ernie.

Looking at shallow reefs under 6 fow. Just worried about whether either of those lips tend to get jammed in the rocks.

Not too many places around me where crashing rock is an option. When there is I'm normally jigging. So I'll open your question to the rest of the fellas with. "Wouldn’t the metal lip of Cisco Kids fare better vs plastic"?

The choice for wood in shallow rock makes sense. Something that high  bouantcy to back out when hung up. Big fork made a wood 10” shallow crank. Great action, and buoyant . Others with metal lips, jointed  scampers, trophy minnow, or plastic lip  krisco’s are durable baits.

In depths greater than 5' I've had good luck with the Depth Raider.

I've busted at least two lips on shallow raiders in the rocks. Depth Raiders have been durable.
