Respool some line on one of ultralights have some stuff to do this weekend at home, Monday going to be 90 in the front range so I'm head up in the mountains and catch some Trout and cheek how the leaves doing they should starting to turn with fall colors. Once they peak I'll take mom up there. (she's 88) does not get out much. Last year she had a really good time.

Will sneak out to the neighborhood tiger lake, for a couple hours early tomorrow. That'll probably be it for the weekend for me.

Our local lake has been producing well. Got a 43" yesterday. Last Friday I took a much needed mental health day. Bagged three: two 43's and a 41. They are starting the winter pool draw down so things will change pretty quickly now as fish follow the bait fish out of the coves and turnover starts. Lake is still stratified with the thermocline at about 15-20 feet.

Yesterday was last day of the year of fishing with the old man. He decided to pick new water an hour away. 2hrs into it he wanted to check out a sheltered shallow 3-4ft deep weed flat for bass. Fish hit the surface 20ft off the deeper side of the boat, he tossed his little 3" wake bait crank and got drilled by 28-32" musky. Got her landed and he was smiling ear to ear, said it had been maybe 20years since he caught a Musky. I had a few follows all 30ish that spooked at the boat. All in all pretty good last day for dad.
